Simon Hurst

Topic: More Joys of Excel

Simon Hurst is a chartered accountant who has been involved in computer software for the accountancy profession over the past 30 years. He is the proprietor of the Knowledge Base, an organisation which concentrates on providing IT training and consultancy to practising accountants. Simon is a former committee member and chairman of the ICAEW’s IT Faculty. He writes about Microsoft Office and related subjects for several websites including the ICAEW IT Counts and Excel Community sites. Simon is an active contributor to the ICAEW Twenty principles for good spreadsheet practice project.

He occasionally leaves the peace and calm of West Sussex to lecture on Microsoft Office and Excel in particular, usually to accountants. He has also written a book called “Essential Excel for Accountants (and others)”.
