As the 6th President of the Accountants Group in Germany (AGIG) since its formation in 1980, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. If you have any comments or suggestions on the contents of the website, or on our seminars, please do not hesitate to let us know.

The AGIG is funded by the six Accountancy bodies. We currently represent more than 900 qualified Accountants resident here in Germany, and we aim to provide our members with professional and business development opportunities, and in particular through our regular seminars, the opportunity to network with other accountants living and working in Germany.

For those of you who have not yet managed to come along to one of our seminars, please do so, and I look forward to seeing you in Frankfurt or at one of the regional seminars sometime soon.

With Kind Regards

Paul Buckley

President AGiG

Autumn Seminar 2020

On 19 November, we held an online event with Eric Mayer who presented on the following topic: “Now is the winter of our discontent; Dieselgate, Cum Ex, Wirecard and the state of Corporate Compliance in Germany in Autumn 2020”. The event was well attended by some 80 members, and very well received. See here for a copy of the presentation.

As this event was so successful, we will continue to offer online events in future from time to time. Please keep a watch on this page for details of future events.

Please note that as members of AGiG you also have access to the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. The BCCG offers a wide range of events on a regional basis. If you are interested, please visit the BCCG Website here —>
