Andrea Bardens is a partner in the PwC Frankfurt office and advises clients and audit teams on complex accounting issues with a focus on leasing and revenue recognition as well as financial instruments.

She is part of the international PwC Accounting Change network and author of several articles in journals. Together with Christoph Gruss she is leading the Accounting Change Topic Team in Germany, which deals with all implementation issues surrounding the implementation of new standards as for example IFRS 16.

Andrea was co-author of the PwC Manual of Accounting for many years. She also led the financial instruments and leasing workstream of PwC’s German National Office.
