Lukas Goretzki is a full Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics and visiting Professor at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.

Before joining SSE, he worked at the University of Innsbruck. His research focuses on the roles/identities of controllers, budgeting, forecasting, performance management and digitalization. Professor Goretzki is a member of the International Committee of the Management Accounting Section of the American Accounting Association, editor of the journal Qualitative Research in Accounting & Management and an editorial board member of the journals Management Accounting Research, Accounting and Business Research and Journal of Management Accounting Research.
